Remi Korchemny

Remi Korchemny ( born June 23, 1932 in Ukraine ) is a former coach who managed a number of known, originating mainly from the U.S. track and field athletes.

After the 1972 Olympics Korchemny moved to the U.S.. Here he worked as a trainer and consultant of Dwain Chambers, Kelli White, Chryste Gaines, Chris Phillips, Valeriy Borzov, Alvin Harrison, John Register and Grace Jackson.

Korchemny was one of the main characters in what became known in 2003, BALCO affair. In the course of the investigation, he confessed in 2006 to have been banned performance- enhancing drugs to athletes from 2000 to 2003. In February 2006 Korchemny was sentenced to a sentence of one year on probation. In 2007, Korchemny his resignation as coach known.
