Reus Deportiu

Reus Deportiu is a sports club based in the Catalan town of Reus in the Spanish comarca of Baix Camp, in the province of Tarragona. He is best known for his successful roller hockey teams. However, the club also has departments for chess, athletics, basketball, hiking, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Artistic Roller Skating, Rugby, Karate, Pádel, tennis and table tennis. He should not be confused with the pursued in the main football FC Reus Deportiu, although both clubs share a part of their history and the corresponding flag of Spain's team colors are the same. Both clubs are self-employed since 1951.

History and sports venues

The club was founded in 1909 under the name Club Deportiu. 1917 Club Velocipedista and Sports Club Reus were integrated, and the current name was adopted club. Due to economic difficulties in 1951, the football department started out at the above -mentioned names.

In the preliminary round of the Europa League, it was variously to clash with German representatives, mostly on one side went in favor of the Catalans. The German champions RSC Cronenberg managed at home in 2012 after all, a surprisingly lenient 1:3.
