Rev Theory
Rev Theory (former band name: Revelation Theory) is an American rock band from North Andover, Massachusetts. Currently, they are at Interscope Records.
Band History
The members of the previous band Revelation Theory came originally from North Andover, at the Merrimack College where she first met in 1997. 2001 moved the band members to New York City where they a year later the current bassist Matt McCloskey met.
In 2005 their debut album " Truth Is Currency", which was released under the label EMI appeared. In the same year they toured with bands like Sevendust and Hinder as the opening act. Her first single, " Slow Burn " made it in the U.S. at number 27 of the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in 2005.
The following year she appeared the first time in Europe, opened for Evanescence and Saliva. In 2007, the band toured again with rock greats like Papa Roach and Hinder in the USA.
The breakthrough Rev Theory 2008, when World Wrestling Entertainment ( WWE) used their music for their pay- per-view events.
Thus introduced the band with the song " Light It Up " music for the biggest wrestling event of the year. The song " Hell Yeah " was the official theme of the " ECW One Night Stand". The former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro appeared in the video for " Hell Yeah " and WWE Superstar Randy Orton uses the song " Voices" as a running music. In addition, "Hell Yeah" the theme song of the American TV series Blue Mountain State. In January 2009 the band " Theory of a Deadman " and began " Ten Second Epic " to tour in the U.S.. In February, her third studio album "Justice" was released by DGC / Interscope Records.
