Reynaldo G. Evangelista

Reynaldo Gonda Evangelista ( born May 8, 1960 in Mabini, Batangas Province, Philippines ) is Bishop of Imus.

Life

Reynaldo Gonda Evangelista received on 19 June 1986, the sacrament of Holy Orders for the Archdiocese of Lipa.

On December 11, 2004, Pope John Paul II appointed Bishop of Boac. The Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, Archbishop Antonio Franco, gave him on 26 January of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Archbishop of Lipa, Ramon Cabrera Arguelles, and the retired Auxiliary Bishop of Lipa, Salvador Quizon. The inauguration took place on 22 February 2005. On April 8, 2013, Pope Francis appointed as Bishop of Imus.
