Ri Kwang- chon (born 4 September 1985) is a North Korean football player.

Career

Ri has performed internationally as a player of the sports group April 25 in appearance, the club of the Korean People's Army.

The defender was back in 2004 /05 to the regulars of the North Korean national team and came in qualifying for the 2006 World Cup to ten inserts. In East Asia Championships Ri belonged to multiple banns, 2005, he contested the qualifying round, 2008, he was part of the final squad. In the East Asian Cup 2010 he missed with the team surprisingly the final round, but was honored as the best defender of the 2nd round. In 2007, he was several times for the North Korean U- 23 side in the qualifiers for the 2008 Olympics on the court, failed with the team but in the final qualifying round.

In the successful qualification for the 2010 World Cup Ri formed together with Ri Jun- il, Pak Nam- chol and Cha Jong- Hyok the defensive line, which was 10 times without conceding a goal in the 14 games of the 2nd and 3rd qualifying round, and thus the foundation for the success laid.
