Ric Ocasek

Ric Ocasek (born 23 March 1949 in Baltimore; bourgeois Richard Otcasek ) is an American musician. He became known as a singer of the band The Cars, which he founded together with Benjamin Orr 1976. Even before the release of Cars 1988 Ocasek had next to some solo success, among other things, with the single Emotion in Motion ( 1986). He also produced several albums of other bands, including the blue and green album of Weezer and works by No Doubt, Le Tigre, Bad Religion, Nada Surf and the Bad Brains. Since 2010 he plays again with The Cars, 2011 appeared the Move Like This album.

Ocasek Paulina Porizkova is married since 1989 and has two sons.
