Ricarda Multerer

Ricarda Multerer ( born April 5, 1990 in Heidenheim an der Brenz ) is a German epee fencer. It is four times German champion.

Multerer acquired higher education at the Waldorf School in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Sporting home is the Heidenheimer SB, where she is coached by Piotr Sozanski.

Between 2003 and 2009 she won as an individual and in team fencer fencing twelve German championship titles at junior level. In November 2010 she won as a member of the German epee team with Britta Heidemann, Imke Duplitzer and Monika Sozanska at the World Fencing Championships in Paris the silver medal. In 2011 she won the German team championship, 2012, she was both in single as well as with the German team champion. In the 2012 Olympics she finished fifth with the team. In 2013, she won the German Fencing Championships 2013 in singles.

Ricarda Multerer is 1,82 m tall and her competition weight is 62 kg. She is sporting a soldier ( Corporal in the sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr in Mainz).
