Richard Chevolleau

Richard Chevolleau (* October 1966 in Kingston ) is a Jamaican - Canadian actor.

Life and career

Richard Chevolleau was born in Jamaica, but grew up in Toronto. During his school days he took first acting attempts. After his high school graduation he studied acting with Paul Bardier after the Sanford Meisner developed by acting technique. He also received lessons in the Maggie Bassett Studio.

From the late 1980s he played leading roles in American and Canadian television series. His first role in the series heirs of the curse. From the mid- 1990s, then his continued career began in television. Chevolleau took over several continuous series roles, recurrent episode roles and guest roles. He has played in several episodes of the series Soul Food, Street Time, Intelligence, and in the two-part mini- series Guns - The price of violence. He also had one episode role in the U.S. series Monk.

Special Chevolleau gained fame with his role as Augur in Earth: Final Conflict, which he represented in a total of 70 episodes of the series from 1997 to 2001. In 2001 he had another two guest appearances in the series, again as Augur, after he had previously resigned as a member of the solid cast.

He won 2004 Gemini Award, the Canadian equivalent of the Emmy for his performance in the television series The Eleventh Hour.

Chevolleau has two daughters, Skye and Asya.
