Richard Culek

Richard Culek ( born April 1, 1974 in Liberec) is a Czech football player.

Club career

Culek began in 1980 with the football games at Slovan Liberec. 1992/93, the midfielder was first used in the First team and helped the team to promotion to the 1st League.

The following Erstligasaison he came to a total of 18 games in which he scored a goal. In the fall of 1994 Culek was loaned to Švarc Benešov, where he made 14 games. Benešov dismounted, Culek moved to Chemnitz FC in the 2nd Bundesliga. There he was in the first season to 20 games, but could not prevent the descent of the CFC in the Regionalliga Nord. He suffered a knee injury and moved as an amateur back to Slovan Liberec. Because of his injury he could not play for many months and began the 1997/98 first in the B team of Slovan.

1998/99 he signed a professional contract for one year and came up with 16 appearances. After failing to agree on a new contract with Slovan, Culek moved to Bohemians Prague. In 2000 he moved to Belgian club SK Lommel and contributed eight goals for promotion to the First Division at. 2001/ 02 reach him six goals in 31 Premier League matches. In 2002 he moved to KVC Westerlo, but there was only one time and went back to Lommel. 2004 Culek was committed from FC Brussels, where he was among the top performers. In summer 2009, the midfielder returned to the Czech Republic and joined the second division Viktoria Zizkov.

National

Culek graduated in the years 1993 and 1994, five games for the Czech Under-21 national team. He scored his only goal in his debut on 7 June 1993 in the 3-2 win over Brazil at the Toulon Tournament.
