Richard Ferdinand Maximilian Ignatius Joseph Valentin Hubertus Maria Graf von Schaesberg - Tannheim, also Thanheim, ( born January 7, 1884 in Tannheim, † September 20, 1953 in Giant Beck) was a German eventing rider, the team won the Olympic silver medal in 1912.

The Royal Prussian Captain Richard of Schaesberg - Tannheim took on " ground swell " at the Olympic Games in 1912 together with Swedish Ernst Casparsson fifth place in the individual standings. Along with Eduard von Lütcken, Carl von Moers and Friedrich von Rochow he rode in the team standings to second place behind the Swedish team.
