Richard Karn
Richard Karn Wilson ( born February 17, 1956 in Seattle, Washington ) is an American actor and showman.
Life
Richard Karn is in the German-speaking area best known for the role of Albert " Al " Borland in the U.S. sitcom Listen, Home Improvement ( Home Improvement) which was produced from 1991 to 1999. Al is the assistant to the " DIY king " Tim Taylor played by Tim Allen, the star of the series. In the role Karn always wears flannel shirts, the figure of Al is often unintentionally funny and regularly acts as a target of Tim's jokes.
On German television, Richard Karn is barely visible beyond. In the U.S., he had some appearances in commercials as well as a few minor roles in films and video productions rather insignificant. In U.S. television, he has, among other things from 2002 to 2006 some of the consequences of the game show Family Feud moderated, whose German version is known as a family duel.
Karn is married to actress Tudi Roche, one of the sisters of the figurines Jill Taylor on Home Improvement in six episodes as represented. 1992 her son Cooper was born.
