Richard Lynch

Richard Hugh Lynch ( born February 12, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York, † June 19, 2012 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actor.

Life

Lynch joined the United States Marine Corps in 1958 and served in four years. In 1967, he lit the LSD trip itself to, from which his scarred face resulted. He took acting classes with Uta Hagen and Lee Strasberg, played in Broadway and off -Broadway performances. He had in 1973 in the excellent with the Golden Palm of the International Film Festival of Cannes feature film Scarecrow his film debut.

As a result, he had a career as a television actor, and was for three decades a frequent guest star on television shows such as Starsky & Hutch, Airwolf, Baywatch - The Baywatch and Six Feet Under. In 1978, he starred in five episodes of the science fiction series Battlestar Galactica. For his portrayal of Titus Cromwell in The Sword and the Sorcerer, he was awarded the 1983 Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor; he had mostly in B-movies like Cyborg III or Alligator II his other feature film appearances - The mutation, exceptions being Little Nikita and Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween 2007, and its horror-thriller The Lords of Salem.
