Richard Seeley

Richard Seeley ( born April 30, 1979 in Powell River, British Columbia ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since 2009 KHL Medveščak Zagreb under contract.

Career

Richard Seeley began his career as a hockey player in the 1995/96 season at the Powell River Kings in the Canadian Junior Football League British Columbia Hockey League. Then the defender spent three years active in the Western Hockey League for the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Prince Albert Raiders. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1997 in the sixth round as the 137th overall player of the Los Angeles Kings, for which, however, he never played. Instead, he stepped into the following seven years for the Lowell Lock Monsters, Manchester Monarchs, Bridgeport Sound Tigers and Norfolk Admirals in the American Hockey League, as well as the Trenton Titans in the ECHL on.

For the season 2006/ 07 Seeley received a contract with the Duisburg Foxes of the German Ice Hockey League, for whom he scored two goals in 48 games and had 17 assists. He subsequently transferred to the Austrian Hockey League, in which he for the Vienna Capitals and the EHC Linz was on the ice each game a long time. For the 2009/10 season the Canadians was finally committed by the Croatian Erste Bank Hockey League rookie KHL Medveščak Zagreb, in a total of 39 games for which he scored one goal and made six assists.
