Richard T. Schulze

Richard Taylor Schulze ( born August 7, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ) is a former American politician. Between 1975 and 1993 he represented the State of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Richard Schulze attended until February 1948, the Haverford High School. In the years 1948 and 1949 he studied at the University of Houston. Since 1950, he acted in Paoli with appliances. Between 1951 and 1953 he served in the U.S. Army. In the years 1967 to 1969 he was employed at the District Court in Chester County. Until 1968, he also continued his education with courses among others at Temple University. Politically, he joined the Republican Party. From 1969 to 1974 he sat as an MP in the House of Representatives from Pennsylvania.

In the congressional elections of 1974, Schulze was in the fifth electoral district of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of John H. Ware on January 3, 1975. After eight re- election he was able to complete in Congress until January 3, 1993 nine legislative sessions. He was at times a member of the Committee on Ways and Means and the Armed Services Committee. In 1992 he gave up another candidacy.

After his time in the U.S. House of Representatives Richard Schulze was one of the advisers of the Republican- affiliated company Valis Associates. He now lives in Arlington ( Virginia) and Windermere (Florida ). He is married for the second time and has four grown children.
