Richard Thomas (actor)

Richard Thomas ( born June 13, 1951 in New York City ) is an American actor.

Life

Thomas began his career at age seven at New York's Broadway. His parents were dancers. His international breakthrough came in 1972 with the role in the television series The Waltons. In this series he played John -Boy, the oldest son of a large family during the Great Depression. After about five years and 122 episodes of the series in 1977 it rose from. Since then, he has starred in numerous feature films and television movies. He also plays regularly theater.

He has published three previous poetry collections of poetry. Occasionally, he is committed to the Better Hearing Institute, since he has his 30th year itself carries a hearing aid because of a nervous -related hearing loss.

Thomas is married to his second wife. He has five biological children ( even triplets ) and two stepchildren. He lives with his family in New York. His hobbies are his family, reading, jazz music and cooking.
