Richthofen

The stock number of the noble family Richthofen (originally: Praetorius von Richthofen ) began with Sebastian Schmidt called Faber and Fabricius ( 1515-1553 ), archdeacon in Bernau near Berlin, then top pastor in Potsdam.

History

His son, Samuel Faber (1543-1605), municipal judge, counsel and mayor of Frankfurt ( Oder), since 1562 adopted son of a cousin was his mother, the Elector of Brandenburg, archiepiscopal Magdeburg, and episcopal sake städter Privy Chamber Council Paul Praetorius ( only: Schultze or magistrates, later: Scultetus, then: Praetorius ), squire to King Born and Biederitz, who in 1561 received an imperial coat of arms letter.

Hertwigswaldau

The castle or manor house in Hertwigswaldau ( Snowidza ) was built by Otto Nostic and in the 17th century. acquired by Johann Praetorius von Richthofen. Meanwhile, coat of arms proliferation with the predicate " von Richthofen " dates from 1661. In 1786 it became the property of Samuel Freiherr von Richthofen. After 1876 the castle was rebuilt by the new owners of Dalwitz. Originally the building was surrounded by a moat. After 1945 there was a use of the castle as the administrative headquarters of a state farm ( nursery operation), today it is privately owned.

The castle garden ( park with sycamore, ash and maple ) were from the 18th century.

Carbon level

The castle or manor house carbon height ( Goczałków Gorny ) was built in 1615 by Baron von closing joke. Reconstruction in the Gothic Revival style was made in 1889 by Karl Freiherr von Richthofen. The vaulted entrance hall was painted with a Richthofen'schen pedigree. The building is preserved, but in need of renovation.

The landscape park ( north of the manor house ) was redesigned in 1889 according to plans by Eduard Petzold, today it is largely destroyed.

Small roses

The castle in small roses at Gross-Rosen ( Rogoźnica ) was built as a moated castle in Renaissance style as a four-winged building with two bridges and tower architecture in 1570. It was acquired in 1734 by Samuel Praetorius von Richthofen. Bolko Freiherr von Richthofen led in 1878 extensive renovations through, especially in the east wing. The rooms of the ground floor and the hall have been preserved with their original vaults. At the entrance is a stone gate was built, which adorned a cast-iron, two lions born family crest until 1977. Under this the motto of the house read: " Cheerful in hope."

Today there is no more building. Only the stone archway has been preserved.
