Ricki Lake

Ricki Lake ( born September 21, 1968 in Hastings-on -Hudson, New York as Ricki Pamela Lake ) is an American talk show host, filmmaker and actress.

Life

Lake first visited the Hastings High School, the Professional Children 's School in New York City, where she learned acting. She then studied for a year at Ithaca College.

One of the first films with Lake belonged Hairspray (1988 ) by John Waters, for which she was nominated in 1989 for the Independent Spirit Award. In the comedy Serial Mom - Why not let mom murdering?
