The Ringelspitz ( rät.: Piz Barghis ) is at an altitude of 3,247 m above sea level. M. the highest mountain in the canton of St. Gallen. The Ringelspitz located in the southern part of the canton, bordering the canton of Grisons. North of the Ringelspitz is the Calfeisental with the Giger Waldsee, in the east of the ridge falls relatively gentle direction Kunkelspass, from where the summit is the easiest to reach. To the south lies the valley of the Anterior Rhine.
