Rising Force is the first studio album by the Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen and was released by Polydor Records in 1984.

Formation

Yngwie Malmsteen got the inspiration for his debut album of classical music, including Niccolò Paganini of Capriccii.

Reception

The album reached number 60 in the U.S. Billboard 200 Steve Huey of Allmusic the side awarded four out of five stars. He described the album as "revelation " at the time of its publication. For all metal guitarists of the 1980s, the album was a "duty - guide". In the magazine Guitar World, the album was placed at number one in the all-time top ten list of shred albums. The editors of the magazine Rock Hard recorded the album at number 116 on its 500 Greatest Albums. Andreas Sky Stone wrote: "Even if the guitar sound is antiquated a little today, Yngwie still do to convince strongly Ritchie Blackmore ajar Strat sound. " Almost all subsequent Neo -Classical- Guitar- plates would not convince a few exceptions such how can this album.
