Barriemore Barlow
Barrie Barlow ( Barry or Barrie Barlow, born September 10, 1949 in Birmingham, England ) is a British drummer and percussionist. Who became known as a member of progressive rock band Jethro Tull in the years 1971-1980 His notoriety.
Career
At the age of 14 years was Barlow drummer for The Blades, a predecessor band Jethro Tull, which also included Ian Anderson, John Evan and Jeffrey Hammond.
After Barlow Jethro Tull had left, he founded together with Zal Cleminson, Charlie and Ronnie Leahy Tumahai the band Tandoori Cassette, but was only a short time.
In the following years he played in various projects as guest musicians, among others, Robert Plant, John Miles, Yngwie Malmsteen and Jimmy Page.
Today Barlow runs a recording studio in the English Shiplake in Oxfordshire and is manager of the band The repertoire.
