Rita Steblin

Rita Katherine Steblin ( born April 22, 1951 in Chilliwack, BC, Canada ) is a musicologist, known for their archival work, in which she combines music history with iconography and genealogy.

Life

After completing her studies in Vancouver, Toronto, Urbana (Illinois), and at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, she worked in Canada (especially in Vancouver ) and in Vienna since 1991, where he initially at the International Franz Schubert Institute and then as an independent researcher.

Stebļins research interests are Ludwig van Beethoven, Franz Schubert, the characteristics of keys, and the musical and social life in the late 18th and early 19th century in Austria (including Hungary and Bohemia).
