The Don at Alford
The Don River is a river in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It rises in the Cairngorm Mountains and flowing about 131 km east to the North Sea at Aberdeen. It flows through Alford, Kemnay, Inverurie, Kintore, and Dyce. The tributary Urie opens in Inverurie in the Don.
The Don is known as fishing grounds for salmon and sea trout.
