The River Duddon is a river in the Lake District in Cumbria, England.

The Duddon rises on the Wrynose Pass and flows for a distance of 24 km in a southerly direction through the Duddon Valley to Broughton -in- Furness, where it expands to an estuary; this leads to the north of Morecambe Bay in the Irish Sea.

The river is home to salmon and kayakers with difficulties of III and IV partially popular.

The poet William Wordsworth has the Duddon in his poems The River Duddon, A Series of Sonnets, written between 1804 and 1820 is described.
