The River Lee ( Irish: An Laoi ) is a river in the Republic of Ireland in County Cork. It rises west of Gougane Barra and then flows about 55 km east to Cork, where it forms the Cork Harbour before it empties into the Celtic Sea. Even before Cork fed the Lee along with other rivers Iniscarra the reservoir where there are several hydroelectric plants.
