Ro-Kyu-Bu!

Rō - Kyū -Bu! (Japaneseロウきゅーぶ!, dt "Basketball Club " ) is a light novel series of the Japanese writer Sagu Aoyama with illustrations by the artist Tinkle. The novel series has also been adapted in several manga series, anime series and computer games.

Action

The series is about the high school student Subaru Hasegawa who becomes the coach of the female middle school basketball team. He needs to deal with both the students as well as the suspicion of being a lolicon.

Volumes 6 and 10 contain at six out of ten short stories that were previously published in the Dengeki Bunko Magazine. In the magazine Dengeki Moeō appeared on 26 October 2009 (Issue 12/2009 ) to 26 October 2013 ( issue 12/ 2013) of the serial novel Visual Rō - Kyū -Bu! (びじゅある ロウきゅーぶ!, Bijuaru Rō - Kyū -Bu ).

On January 25, 2013, the artbook Rō - Kyū -Bu appeared! no Subete! (ロウきゅーぶ の すべて;! ISBN 978-4-04-891135-1 ) with illustrations from the light novel, the manga, anime and the game.

Adaptations

Manga

The first eponymous manga series drawn by Yūki Takami and appear in ASCII Media Works ' manga magazine Dengeki G 's magazine since 30 August 2010 ( issue 10 /2010). So far (as of December 2013), the individual chapters in six anthologies ( tankōbon ) were summarized.

From Futaba Miwa a Yonkoma manga comes called Rō - Kyū -Bu! Yonkoma (ロウきゅーぶ!よんこま), which since April 26, 2011 ( Issue 6 /2011) appears in the magazine Dengeki Moeō. So far (as of December 2013) published two anthologies.

Yūki Takami draws on 26 October 2012 ( Vol. 26 ) the manga Rō - Kyū -Bu! Halftime (ロウきゅーぶ!は~ふたいむ, Rō - Kyū -Bu! Hāfutaimu ), which in the magazine Dengeki G 's Festival! Comic appear. So far, the chapters were summarized in an anthology.

Anime

The studios project No.9 and studio Blanc adapted the novel series as a 12- episode anime series, directed by Keizo Kusakawa and Character Design by Takayuki Noguchi. The series was erstausgestrahlt from July 1 to September 23, 2011 on AT -X and up to one week delay on TV Kanagawa, Chiba TV, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, Tokyo MX, TV Saitama, and TV Aichi. In North America, the series of Sentai Filmworks licensed.

The PSP game Rō - Kyū -Bu! Himitsu no Otoshimono 20 June 2013 DVD ( OVA) was settled, which contained a 13 episode anime.

On October 20, 2012 it was announced that a second season of the anime titled Rō - Kyū -Bu! SS is to be produced. This was produced by project No.9 alone and director Kusakawa of Shinsuke Yanagi supported as an assistant director. The 12 episodes ran from 5 July to September 27, 2013 on AT -X and then on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto and TV Aichi.

Music

The soundtrack of the series comes from Takeshi Watanabe. For the first season was as biasing the title piece Shoot! used and uncredited Party Love - Okkiku naritai (Party Love ~おっきく なり たい~ ).
