Robert A. Schuller

Schuller grew up in California and graduated at Hope College in Holland (Michigan). During his childhood, he took an active part in community life, headed by his father, Robert Schuller Garden Grove Community Church, which became known as Crystal Cathedral later.

After his ordination, he founded the community of Rancho Capistrano Community Church in San Juan Capistrano, California, south of the Crystal Cathedral. During these years there he laid the foundation of Possibility Living Ministries whose focus is a lifestyle, in whose center is Jesus Christ and whose focus is on mind, body and spirit.

On January 22, 2006 Schuller joined as second senior pastor of the congregation of the Crystal Cathedral in the footsteps of his father. In this office he was also the international televised church Hour of Power. On November 29, 2008, he passed but due to disagreements within the Church back as a preacher of the community.

As a successful author Schuller has written twelve books, including the bestseller Dump Your Hang Ups, Without Dumping Them on Others. One of his books he wrote with Dr. Douglas DiSiena - it is entitled Possibility Living - Add Years to Your Life and Life to your Years with God 's Health Plan ( to German life in options - add your years of life and life to your years added, with God's health plan ). His latest book is The path through the dark valley, which was released in November 2006 in German. It is about how Psalm 23 can give a man strength to overcome his difficulties.
