Robert Conti

Robert Conti ( born November 21, 1945 in Philadelphia ) is a jazz guitarist of the bebop and hard bop.

At the age of twelve years, Conti became interested in jazz and then brought himself to play the guitar. Two years later he appeared live and toured after he finished school through the U.S. and Canada. In 1966, he then sat down in Jacksonville and retired in 1970 temporarily from the music scene back.

In 1976 Conti reappear and 1981 appeared on Discovery Records in Los Angeles his debut album Bob Conti and the Hollywood Jazz Quintet. Along with Joe Pass, he then took The Living Legends on. In 1982, he was the first music behind him, until 1985 a new album in the form of You Are the Sunshine of My Life appeared. In 1986, he joined together with Jimmy McGriff on the Florida National Jazz Festival.

In 1988, Conti then moved to Irvine, California, where he regularly appeared in the Irvine Marriott Hotel. In 1990 came the album Comin 'on Strong on the market.
