Robert Dalva

Robert Dalva ( born April 14, 1942 in New York City ) is an American editor who occasionally works as a cinematographer and director.

His debut as an editor he gave in 1969 with the film Lions Love, which was directed by Agnès Varda. In 1979 he was involved in The Black Stallion, and was nominated for an Oscar for this. Two years later he staged with The Black Stallion Returns the continuation of this movie and was therefore his debut as a director. In the 1990s, Dalva had occasionally worked as a cinematographer, including for the Nash Bridges series. First experience as a cameraman he had made ​​in 1977 with the film Star Wars, in which he served as second-unit cameraman.
