Robert Eden Scott

Robert Eden Scott ( born April 23 1808 in Warrenton, Fauquier County, Virginia; † May 3, 1862 in Fauquier County, Virginia) was an American politician from the 19th century.

He was from 1835 to 1842 and again from 1845 to 1852 in the House of Representatives from Virginia. He also represented Virginia in the years 1850 and 1851 at the State Constitutional Convention, and again in 1861 at its secession convention. Subsequently, he was from 1861 to 1862 as a delegate in the Provisional Konföderiertenkongress.

Scott died in a clash with a gang of deserters from the Union Army in Fauquier County.
