Robert Flemyng

Robert Flemyng ( born January 3, 1912 in Liverpool, † 22 May 1995 ) was an English actor.

Life and work

Flemyngs first stage appearance was in 1928 in the play King John, as a professional he made his debut in 1931 in the play Rope by Patrick Hamilton. In October of the same year he performed in London for the first time.

After the Second World War Flemyng appeared frequently in films. He embodied consistently elegant, high- ranking individuals, public officials, academics and typical gentlemen. Flemyng was also seen in numerous English and American series.
