Robert Francis Hennessey

Robert Francis Hennessey ( born April 20, 1952 in South Boston, Massachusetts, United States) is Auxiliary Bishop of Boston.

Life

Robert Francis Hennessey received on 20 May 1978 the Archbishop of Boston, Humberto Sousa Cardinal Medeiros, the sacrament of ordination to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Boston.

On 12 October 2006 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him. Titular Bishop of Tigias and auxiliary bishop in Boston. The Archbishop of Boston, Cardinal O'Malley, OFM Cap Sean Patrick, donated on 12 December of the same year he, like John Anthony Dooher, episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishop in Boston, Emilio Simeon Allué SDB, Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus and in Boston, John Patrick Boles.
