Robert H. Harris

Robert H. Harris; actually Robert H. Hurwitz ( born July 15, 1911 in New York City, New York, † 30 November 1981 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actor.

Life

Robert H. Harris played in 1948 on Broadway in the musical Look, Ma, I'm Dancin '! with 1949 and took over the role of Lord Hastings in Richard III. From 1950 he has had numerous appearances in television series and played it mostly dubious, if not downright evil characters. Between 1953 and 1956, he starred in the comedy Molly the role of Jake Goldberg, one of his few sympathetic roles.

Noteworthy are eight appearances in Alfred Hitchcock Presents 1956-1961 and six appearances in Perry Mason 1958-1965. Between, he returned occasionally to Broadway back and looked in the 1964 not successful musical Foxy with. He had in the television series 77 Sunset Strip, Ben Casey, and the Western series one thousand miles of dust more television appearances. He had a supporting role in 1965 in Edward Dmytryks film The 27th floor.

In 1977 he sat down to rest. Harris was married twice.
