Robert Joseph Shaheen

Robert Joseph Shaheen ( born June 3, 1937 in Danbury ) is an American clergyman and Bishop Emeritus of Our Lady of Lebanon in Los Angeles.

Life

Robert Joseph Shaheen received on 2 May 1964, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 5 December 2000 as Bishop of Our Lady of Lebanon in Los Angeles. He received his episcopal consecration of the Maronite Patriarch of Antioch and all the East, Nasrallah Pierre Sfeir Cardinal, on 15 February of the next year; Were co-consecrators Roland Aboujaoudé, Auxiliary Bishop of Antioch, John George Chedid, Bishop Emeritus of Our Lady of Lebanon in Los Angeles, Stephen Hector Youssef Doueihi, Bishop of Saint Maron of Brooklyn, and Francis Mansour Zayek, retired archbishop ad personam of Saint Maron in Brooklyn.

On July 10, 2013 Francis Pope accepted his resignation age-related.
