Robertas Javtokas

Robertas Javtokas ( born March 20, 1980 in Siauliai, Lithuanian SSR, Soviet Union) is a basketball player from Lithuania.

Javtokas began his professional career at KK Siauliai in Lithuania, where he signed his first professional contract in 1997. In 1999 Javtokas to the University of Arizona before joining in January 2000 to Lithuania to BC Lietuvos Rytas. In the following years, the 2,10 m long established center for his club and was able to collect a number of titles and awards. These include, inter alia, three Lithuanian Championships and a ULEB Cup. In the summer of 2001 Javtokas was selected by the San Antonio Spurs ranked 56th of the NBA draft. In 2006 he moved to Greek club Panathinaikos Athens, where he reached the Triple 2007. In the 2010/11 season at Valencia Basket Club Javtokas was under contract before he returned to Lithuania and signed with Zalgiris Kaunas.

Robertas Javtokas is an integral part of the Lithuanian national team and participated with this part in the European Championships in 2001 and 2005, and at the Olympic Games in 2004 and 2008.
