Roberto Petito
Roberto Petito ( born 1 February 1971 in Civitavecchia ) is an Italian racing cyclist.
His first success came in 1994 at the Giro della Romagna Petito. His greatest triumph succeeded in 1997 with the overall victory at Tirreno- Adriatico, where he won two stages later. At the Giro d' Italia in the same year he was again second stage. He was in the dress of Fassa Bortolo fifth in the Tour of Flanders 2005. After he moved to Tenax in 2006 succeeded the specialist for cobblestones of Tenth place. In the four days of Dunkirk in early May he could win a stage and decide a little later than the first Italian to the total score for themselves.
