Robin Swicord
Robin Swicord ( born 1952 in Columbia, South Carolina) is an American screenwriter and director.
Life
Robin Swicord is a busy screenwriter. So she wrote the screenplay for the Oscar-winning film Memoirs of a Geisha ( Memoirs of a Geisha ). Other screenplays she wrote for Matilda, Little Women, Practical Magic, The Perez Family, and Shag.
Her debut as a director, she gave in 1993 in the short film The Red Coat, for which she also wrote the screenplay. The couple had two daughters, one of which is the actress Zoe Kazan. Her father was the internationally renowned director Elia Kazan.
