These competitions are very popular, both among the interested audience that here was a meeting place and new bands met, and among the bands, as these CCM simultaneously gathered a large crowd scene and the attention of the music press of the country. Significant was also the prospect of profit, which consisted in musical instruments or records publications, both equally troublesome things to be procured for independent bands of the time. So waved a contribution to the annual CMM compilations of RRV and own publications for the winners, on which was founded after the first CMM own independent label Dansa Som do.
