Rodez AF

Rodez Aveyron Football ( or shortly le RAF ) is a French football club based in Rodez, capital of the department of Aveyron.

The club was established 1929/30, under the name Stade de Rodez Football; after bankruptcy and relaunch it in 1993 to its present name. The club colors are yellow and red; league team plays at the Stade Paul -Lignon, which has a capacity of 5,955 seats.

Current club president is Pierre -Olivier Murat, current coach is Franck Plenecassagne (October 2012).

League membership

From 1988 to 1993 had Rodez a professional statute, was a one-year break in the second division, but never in Division 1 ( called since 2002 Ligue 1) between 1988 and 1993 represented. In the 2013/14 season Rodez plays in the fourth division (CFA).

The woman elf RAF however, since 2010, represented consistently in the top French division.
