Rodney Leach, Baron Leach of Fairford

(Charles Guy ) Rodney Leach, Baron Leach of Fairford ( born June 1, 1934) is a British politician of the Conservatives Party, Life Peer in the British House of Lords and former vice chairman of Jardine Lloyd Thompson. He served as Chairman of the think tank Open Europe, which has made a critical involvement of the EU policy goal and is a director of Rothschild Continuation AG and various listed Jardine Matheson Group companies. He is also a well-known climate skeptics.

Life and career

Leach parents are Charles Harold Leach and Nora Eunice Ashworth. He attended Harrow School in Middlesex, before went to Balliol College.

Baron Leach was the chairman of the campaign NOtoAV calling for a rejection of the instant runoff voting election process in the electoral law referendum in the United Kingdom 2011.

Leach has married twice. His first marriage to Felicity Ballantyne 1963-1989 since 1993., He is married to Jessica Violet Gwynne. It was awarded to Lady Leach of Fairfordals as her husband in 2006 the nobility.
