Rodoviária Nacional
The Rodoviária Nacional was a state-owned bus company in Portugal.
As part of the new economic policy after the Carnation Revolution in 1974, key industries and enterprises were nationalized, also in the field of passenger transport. So after a legislative decision of 1975, all bus operators, whose fleet was larger than 60 buses to Rodoviária Nacional ( RN, dt about "National Transport Company"), summarizes, and dissolved in the from June 1, 1976 uniformly guided RN.
The RN operating a nationwide network of bus routes, both in transport, as well as intercity bus operation ( Intercidades ), with 9 (later 10) regional passenger centers (CEP - Centros de exploração de Passageiros ).
