Rodulf (archbishop of Bourges)

Radulf of Bourges (also: Raoul or Rodolphe de Bourges, Raoul of Turenne; * to 800 in Cahors, † June 21 866 in Bourges ) was from 840/841 Archbishop of Bourges and in the Catholic Church as a saint and namesake (Ralf ) worshiped ( June 21).

Radulf was a son of Count Rudolf of Cahors. According to different sources, he was abbot of St- Médard at Soissons or cleric to Soulignac. As bishop, he participated in numerous synods and wrote a dependent of the capitula of Theodulf of Orléans Instructio Pastoral ( Pastoral Letter for the clergy ).

His resting place he found in the church of Saint- Ursin in Bourges. He is represented in episcopal regalia.
