Rolan Gusev

Rolan Gusev Alexandrovich (Russian Ролан Александрович Гусев; born September 17, 1977 in Ashgabat, Turkmen SSR ) is a Russian football player. He usually plays as an attacking midfielder or he occupied, the right- midfield position. He currently plays for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.

Career

Gusev was born in Ashgabat, but moved at the age of nine years, to Moscow, where he was booked into the Youth School of FK Dynamo Moscow. In 1997, he was 20 years old his first professional contract with Dynamo Moscow. There he played until 2001 before he was obliged by CSKA Moscow. With CSKA, he had his most successful period. He immediately became top scorer in the Russian league in 2002. He was twice Russian champion, twice he won the Russian Cup once and the UEFA Cup. In the UEFA Cup in 2005 profit he came on in the 90th minute for Evgenhi Aldonin. In 2004 he was nominated for the European Championship in Portugal to the Russian team. But Russia failed in the first round. In 2008 he moved to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in Ukraine.
