Roland Martin (Journalist)

Roland S. Martin ( born November 14, 1968 in Houston, Texas) is an American journalist.

Roland Martin was born in 1968 as the son of an African-American family in Houston, Texas. After visiting the Jack Yates High Schhool he studied from 1987 on a scholarship at Texas A & M University. 1991 he received a bachelor's degree. The master's degree ( in the subject " Christian Communuications " ) acquired Martin only after he had already been long years in professional life, in May 2008, at Louisiana Baptist University.

Martin wrote for many years for the journal Chicago Defender, for which he also took out legislative functions. After that, he was discovered as a talk -host of the radio. Currently, he hosts a morning show in this capacity for the station WVON in Chicago. In addition, Martin in March 2007 as a commentator for CNN.
