Roland Wilson (conductor)

Roland Wilson ( born 1951 ) is a British cornettist, conductor and instrument maker.

Life

Roland Wilson studied trumpet at the Royal College of Music in London and later at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. In 1976 he founded the ensemble Musica Fiata La Capella Ducale and 1992. Furthermore, Wilson operated scientifically in the field of historically informed performance practice and builds reconstructions of historical tines.
