Rolpe Dorje, 4th Karmapa Lama

Rolpe Dorje (Tib.: rol pa'i rdo rje; * 1340 Kongpo, † 1383 ) was the fourth Karmapa of the Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism

Life

Rolpe Dorje told at the age of three years, he was the " Karmapa ". As a teenager, he received the formal transfer of the Kagyu Dorje Yungtön Pelba (Tibetan: rdo rje ston g.yung dpal ba, 1284-1365 ) - the spiritual heirs of the 3rd Karmapa.
