Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manizales

The Archdiocese of Manizales (Latin: Archidioecesis Manizalensis, Spanish: Archidiócesis de Manizales ) is a location in Columbia Roman Catholic diocese based in Manizales. It includes the Colombian Caldas and Departementos small part Risaraldas.

History

Pope Leo XIII. founded it on 11 April 1900 has cessions of territory of the diocese of the Archdiocese of Medellin and Popayan, where it was assumed as a suffragan. On February 24, 1902, was part of the ecclesiastical province of the Archdiocese of Medellín.
