Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Tunis

The immediate Archdiocese of Tunis (Latin: Archidioecesis tunetanus ) is a location in Tunisia Roman Catholic archdiocese headquartered in Tunis.

The archbishopric was founded in 1843 as the Apostolic Vicariate of Tunis and raised under the name Apostolic Vicariate of Carthage on November 10, 1884 to the Archbishopric of Carthage. On 9 July 1964, the archbishopric in the Territorialprälatur Tunis was converted, collected on 31 May 1995 to the diocese and 22 May 2010 again to the archbishopric.
