Roman Catholic Diocese of Bafia

The diocese Bafia (Latin: Dioecesis Bafiensis ) is a location in Cameroon Roman Catholic diocese based in Bafia.

History

The diocese Bafia was on July 6, 1965 by Pope Paul VI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Quo lex Evangelica of cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Yaoundé as Apostolic Prefecture Bafia. On January 11, 1968, the Apostolic Prefecture Bafia was Paul VI. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Dei Filii Adorandi to the diocese and the Archdiocese of Yaoundé is a suffragan.
