Roman Catholic Diocese of Bambari

The diocese Bambari (Latin Dioecesis Bambaritanus ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Bambari in the Central African Republic. It consists of the prefectures of Haute- Kotto, Ouaka and Vakaga.

History

Pope Paul VI. founded it with the Apostolic Constitution In vitae naturalis on December 18, 1965 from the Archdiocese of Bangui cessions of territory and was also subordinate to him as suffragan.
