Roman Catholic Diocese of Bethlehem

The Diocese of Bethlehem (Latin: Dioecesis Bethlehemensis ) is a location in South Africa, diocese of the Roman Catholic church located in Bethlehem.

History

The Diocese of Bethlehem was February 12, 1948 initially as Apostolic Vicariate " Bethlehemensis " from the Apostolic Vicariate of Kroonstad out by Pope Pius XII. founded. On January 11, 1951 rose Pius XII. the Vicariate of the present diocese.

It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Bloemfontein.
